Democracy is in crisis.

Super PACs with fig-leaf independence are spending tens of millions of dollars on ads trying to buy the elections for their favored candidates. Politicians are racing around the country raising money rather than connecting with people in their districts. And there’s no sense that candidates deeply care about fixing the system because they've been told by pundits and pollsters that it doesn’t help them win their elections. It’s time to change all this.
