Friends of Democracy seeks to build the political power necessary to force meaningful change in the way money flows in and around politics and the influence it wields.

It’s hard to imagine a way to fund elections more destructive to the public trust than the one currently in use: SuperPACs with fig-leaf independence, unlimited corporate spending, a fundraising arms race by candidates who are trying to keep up, and woefully incomplete transparency.

It’s time to change all this.
