Nan Hayworth has taken almost $325,000 from insurance CEOs, lobbyists, and PACs. She voted to allow them to discriminate against women when it comes to providing equal coverage and to privatize Medicare, which will benefit those same insurance companies and cost seniors $6,400 more a year. Hayworth has refused to back real reforms, and has even voted against disclosure that would allow us to know who’s funding the attack ads. But she did vote to give companies tax breaks to ship jobs overseas. We need to say No to Nan Hayworth.
Friends of Democracy targeted 22,669 voters in the race between incumbent Representative Hayworth and challenger Sean Patrick Maloney. Rep. Nan Hayworth was defeated by a margin of 8,551 votes.
